It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our esteemed SeaRoad Devonport Motor Show Committee member, Mac Russell AM on June 9th.

Those of us who were available farewelled Mac on Monday when attending a memorial service which was a celebration of Mac’s life.

Mac was a stalwart of the Motor Show and served as a committee member, secretary and also as chairman. It is in large part due to Mac’s organisational skills that the Motor Show has been so successful over a period of 17 years in raising much needed money for a variety of charities.

Mac was an outstanding individual who was ever ready to contribute in so many ways.

He was admired and respected by all and will be sadly missed. Our hearts go out to Marje and all of his family.
